Shibasaki Kou leads in this sports-kungfu flick directed by Stephen Chow as a kungfu teacher preparing to take over her grandfather’s dojo. On returning back to Japan after 3,000 days of Shaolin training, she goes on rebuilding her dojo and joins her university lacrosse team, putting her abilities to work.
Watch out for cameos by two actors from the Shaolin Soccer movie. Theme song of the movie is Giri Giri HERO by Mihimaru GT.
Based on a novel published on a cell phone site, Koizora is a movie about a girl Mika who falls in love with her classmate when she enters high school. With the romance came some unfortunate incidents involving rape, abortion and betrayal. Leads for the movie include Aragaki Yui and Haruma Miura.
